We have specialised inspection meters that monitor moisture, temperature and humidity, all relevant factors in the drying process. Our specialised drying equipment ( air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers etc. ) are portable and can dry even the most inaccessible areas and can be safely left on for extended periods of time.

Carpet Cleaning

Carpets are a very forgiving floor covering and can be significantly soiled long before any soiling is visibly apparent. Rule of thumb : If you wait till your carpets look dirty to have them cleaned, then you have waited too long.

At Magic Wand we specialise in Low Moisture Cleaning (LMC). LMC is a "Green" cleaning system.

The cleaning solution used has an in-built carpet protector which results in your carpet staying cleaner for longer.

LMC produces results as good as Hot Water Extraction (HWE) and leaves the carpet drier than dry cleaning methods.

Another advantage LMC has over HWE is it uses approximately 1/10th the amount of water needed for HWE, therefore drying quicker and leaving you with the benefit of having your house back in order much sooner and letting you get on with your day.

Fire and Smoke damage can be so devatating to not only the surface areas that are in sight but so many surfaces that cannot be seen.
We have years of experience completely restoring all surfaces. We have specialised equipment that can clean all types of surfaces .
For the environment to be safe,it must be decontaminated not just redecorated.Fire and smoke causes more damage than we can see with the naked eye.Studies have proven that many of the natural,synthetic and organic chemicals ptesent in most carpets,furnishings and other structural elements,when burned, release an array of chemicalsthat maybe harmful to the human body.Soot at a damage site poses a potentially lethal threat,especially to sensitive people and therefore must be dealt with responsibily and effectively.
It is essential that soot residue is thoroughly removed before the application of sealers,paint and wall paper etc.Smoke odurs can become trapped if not removed properly.

Mould becomes a serious problem when it lands on a wet or damp spot and begins growing.Mould has the potential to cause health problems such as allergic reactions,sneezing,runny nose,red eyes and skin rashes.It can also irritate the eyes,skin,nose and throat as wellas lungs.

Odour Removal

We can remove any type of odour from the minor to the extreme,whether it be from household pets,rotting food,vermin,mould or organic sources.
Normal carpet cleaning methods will not remove urine odour from carpet and can make the odour worse.
Urine is composed of organic and inorganic substances and when it begins to dry,it changes in ph. It is transformed from being acidic[uric acid] to becoming alkaline[alkaline salt].the alkaline salts attract moisture from the air,which in turns cause the urine odour to reactivate.
Urine deposits will penetrate through the carpet into the underlay and sub floor.Normal carpet cleaning cannot reach it to clean the underlay and sub floor.
